Atlanta, GA: – The 2004 Annual Radiant Panel Association Conference, October 13-17, will be held in conjunction with ISH North America in Boston, MA. The consolidated trade show and comprehensive seminar program for Kitchen and Bath, Plumbing, PVF, Heating and Air Conditioning will take place October 14-16 at the brand new Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Radiant Panel Association (RPA) will feature the Radiant House directly on the ISH North America show floor. “The Radiant House has been a popular feature at past REX shows,” stated Lawrence Drake, RPA’s executive director. “We are pleased to bring it to ISH North America in Boston this year.”
The Radiant House is a simulated building structure, constructed on the show floor, in which various radiant heating products are installed during the event. Attendees get a chance to experience first hand the installation of staple-up tubing systems, prefabricated radiant floor panels, staple down tubing and electric systems, gypsum floor pours and more. Throughout the day various radiant companies will demonstrate actual installation techniques and provide anyone interested with a hands-on opportunity. Their handiwork will be left in place throughout the show to provide examples of the variety of radiant systems and equipment available.
The radiant heating industry continues to grow at a vigorous pace. One of the biggest challenges the industry faces is having enough contractors to do the work. The Radiant Panel Association has taken on the task of educating radiant technicians with demonstrations like the Radiant House and the Radiant Track of seminars hosted during ISH North America. The Annual Radiant Panel Association Conference will also include round table discussions, radiant specific seminars, System Showcase awards presentations, full day classes and special RPA events.
Radiant heating equipment and services will be exhibited in the show area around the Radiant House by most of the leading industry suppliers. The Radiant Panel Association will have a booth to answer questions, provide insights and network with those involved with and interested in the radiant field. There will also be a unique gallery on display of radiant history and art.
Registration for the Annual Radiant Panel Association Conference is all-inclusive. Registrants may attend all RPA specific events as well as ISH North America’s trade show and all show associated seminars. For more information on the Annual RPA Conference, visit www.RPAconference.com or call 800.660.7187.
New for 2004, ISH North America will provide an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products in action at a Product Demonstration Area directly on the exhibit hall floor. It will allow trade buyers and attendees to see the latest innovations and most popular products in detail. "It's one thing to see an item on display on the show floor - it's quite another to see that product in action," stated Roland Bleinroth, President of show organizer and partner, Messe Frankfurt, Inc. This special presentation area will provide another cost-effective opportunity for exhibitors to highlight product launches and technical innovations, drawing more interested buyers to their exhibit booths.
ISH North America is bringing back the portion of the innovative SmartHouse showcasing advanced building technology from Europe. The SmartHouse features the most recent developments of innovative, intelligent, and networked house and building technology and was a popular feature at the previous ISH North America trade show. SmartHouse presents solutions for remotely monitoring and controlling building technology. This “home automation” offers the user attractive benefits in terms of security, comfort and quality of life. For installers, the new smart technology and associated services represent additional business opportunities that accommodate the concepts of the future as well as the needs of today.
At the core of the SmartHouse concept is “intelligence” – including networking and communication technology. The individual components of the SmartHouse are linked together instead of isolated. Applications include energy saving options for the kitchen, bath and other rooms throughout the home. Air conditioning, security and communications are all integrated features.
This year’s ISH North America seminar program has increased in both the number of tracks and total number of sessions offered. The continuing efforts to improve and develop ISH North America are based on the considerable feedback from partner groups, endorsing associations, exhibitors and attendees.
This year the show’s northeastern location is especially significant for the Heating and Hydronics segments. Chartered buses supported by the endorsing association and individual companies will help to ensure that the region’s trade professionals have access to the many benefits offered by the trade show and its co-located events.
ISH North America is the only consolidated trade show incorporating products and services in Kitchen & Bath, Plumbing, PVF, Heating and Air Conditioning. The trade show will cover an expansive hall of over 250,000 square feet of exhibit space and is accompanied by a comprehensive seminar program featuring educational tracks covering topics in: Business Management/Marketing; Environmental Systems; Hydronics; Radiant Heating; HVAC; Kitchen & Bath; and Plumbing.
ISH North America trade show and seminar program will take place October 14-16, 2004 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA. Go to www.ish-na.com for more details or to register online.
